Remind us to re-read our Encyclopedia Brown, and to do it well: It is with some egg on our face that we tell you once again that Chase Utley did not — repeat did NOT — just buy a $4.2 mil condo in The Reef Building. So, sorry NoLibs. (Altho we did somehow hear in all of this that Jen Utley is a fan of Rustica Pizza on Second St., so at least you get that.) However, general concensus among readers and the Real Estate Professionals we’ve consulted suggest that the Utleys actually bought two floors in The Ayer Building on Washington Square, which frankly puts that shitbox we thought he was living in to shame. You can read a little more about the Ayer’s recent redevelopment here. As for us, we now have even more Apartment Lust than we did before: We heart the living bums out of Wash Sq, and when you put in the Utleys’ proximity to El Fuego and Grasshopper, well, we just might have to invite ourselves over for Coronas one of these afternoons.
