I dunno. Spiritualized was great like 6-8 years ago for me. Their appeal stopped the moment I stopped taking drugs to make music to take drugs to. Yeah…that was a sad attempt at incorporating the album title into a witty response.

The show last night wasn’t bad - it was probably a solid 6.5 on a 1-10 scale… Seeing them live made me realize just how much I enjoy them on compact disc….
(and the new trees will be planted in October, Sonny)

sad indeed since it was not his album but his old band
they were tight as shit and I have never seen J so animated.
He stood the whole show (not sitting on a stool) went into a feedback slice with guitar amp grating and playing with the guitar tuning. We also got a 2 song extra long encore other cities did not.
