Can someone explain who the hell Chris Tucker is and why I should care? Not everyone that reads this blog is a hipster dufus.

Ahem. ANYWAY.

oh christ, that’s what banning was invented for. didn’t know chris either, but most of us are sorry about your friend.

One douchebag steak to another: rotten, man.
While everyone reading this blog may not be a hipster doofus, most of us are internet literate enough to know how to follow links and find a very concise yet thoughtful and appreciative obit on the departed. Those of us with even greater internet savvy can use this newfangled thing called “google” to get more privileged info.
I only read a few of Chris’ writings, but thought they were fun. I’m sorry for his friends’ loss.

Has there been a designated charity that we can make donations to in honor of Christopher’s memory? Were there any causes close to his heart?
I’d like to honor his warmth and spirit in a way that would do him proud.

that’s such a lovely idea.
I know he’s survived by a young son — maybe some sort of trust for him, for education/music/?

that’s a very sweet thought from both of you. it’s my understanding that a foundation for christopher’s son is in the making. i’m sure philebrity will post the details when they become available.

This is just a thought, but if Christopher had any favorite authors or certain books that he held dear, maybe people could donate money to their local libraries–or perhaps his son’s school library–and the library would purchase the books in his memory, with a dedication to him inside the jacket.
Again, it’s just a thought.

He loved Salinger, for sure.

I did google him and all I found was stories about Jackie Chan and the quote, “can you hear the words coming outta my mouths.”

steakwith: if you would like to see some of his work, you can check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKdiQpYM5A4 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nf-vzoaufU4. Suffice it to say though that he was friend, brother, son, father and very much loved by all of us.

After the celebration of Christopher’s life at Valley Garden Park on Saturday, all are welcome to continue the celebration at Scratch Magoo’s at 1709 Delaware Avenue in Wilmington. Christopher enjoyed many times at this restaurant/pub.

Thank you Jonrs for answering my question. Joey Sweeney, stop emailing me and asking me to stop. I guess you think its funny when I post on Dan Gross’ blog, but don’t like it when I post on yours. The only reason I even know about this lame site is because someone told me you reposted my comments regarding Gross.
FYI, Gross handles it way better than you. Put down the PBR, lace up the chuck taylors and grow a set.

Steakwith, this has nothing to do with Dan Gross. This has everything to do with you being an asshole about someone who died. I hope you’re proud of yourself: You just got banned.

Apparently, if you write a check to Jackson Tucker and send it to the 2nd and Lombard branch of Commerce Bank, they know to put it in the account that will benefit Christopher’s son! That’s where my donation is going…
