Subject: RE: Lit in PhiladelphiaHi,
well yes My self and David Schwartz are partenering up with a local phillian to do a bar.
But it is not called Lit.
Nor is it envolve Max or any other one else from New York except me and David Schwartz.
David Schwartz used to be the night manager of Silk City.
I love Philly and LOVE what the city has to offer.
We pose no threat and are excited to offer our vibe to a new place.
there will be a heavy art vibe at the new spot wich is called “THE FU”.
The spot is on gerard and used to be a dive called the “PENELTY BOX”.
We are pushing for the begining of september and there will be new york acts /dj’s, bands rolling through but for the most part it will be a small part of the place.
I want to include as much of the Philly scene as i can.
Please spread the word and i hope to meet you and the gang as soon as possible.
good vibes,
e
Stay tuned for more info today on still another venue opening up around these parts…

The Penalty Box is on Thompson & Front. Dude needs to spell check. I hope he spelled his own bar’s name right.

I’m excited for it, its right around the corner from my house. Though I hate the name. It reminds me of names of the slew of shitty bars that once occupied the building where National Mechanics now resides.
