Who Knew That After All This, It Would Be Comcast That Could Win A National Title For Philly?
Sure, it’s no Stanley Cup or World Series, but hey, at this point, we’ll take it: Comcast is a final death match with Countrywide/Bank Of America for the vaunted title of Worst Company In America. Since March, Consumerist has been doing March Madness-style runoffs between the so-called Worst Companies In America, as nominated by their readers. And now it’s down to just two. Mind you, to get to the finals, Comcast had to beat out, among others, Ticketmaster, Exxon, and Diebold, which is really saying something. Voting is live now, and think of it: We might not have been able to get Pat Burrell to the All-Star Game, but if Comcast isn’t an asshole worth your vote, well, we just don’t know who is.
