Rumor: NYC’s Lit Lounge To Open An Outpost In Philly?

Think of it as a Hard Rock Cafe for the PBR set. Either way, little birdies are telling us that Lit Lounge NYC is in a rather advanced stage of opening up a Philly post in what is quickly becoming the Live Music Mecca of Fishtown. (It’s like Berlin Williamsburg Portland in there!) With a location “somewhere down Girard” and very possibly in or near the old Jack & Jill Ice Cream factory, you’ve gotta wonder if the market can support another live music venue. Even if it can’t, though, at least the 2.7 New Yorkers who are moving here each day will finally have a place that feels like home that’s not the Rocket Cat.

Does the Rocket Cat feel like home to anyone?

The second part of the last sentence doesn’t make much sense to me. Unless of course NYC has some secret Christian hipster population thats okay with slow service.

maybe its the lack of seating with which new yorkers are familiar.
