Let the skate/funk interface in Philly unite once again this evening, because Johnny Brenda’s has Blktop Project – the new band from skate legend Tommy Guerrero and Chuck Treece — and Bing Ji Ling (pictured), who is this really sweet dude we know who dresses in pimp clothes and plays Lite FM/Quiet Storm type jams. If you needed me to paint you a more direct picture, let’s just say this: “Bing Ji Ling” is Japanese for “ice cream.”
