iMeem Writes Mash Note To The City; ?uesto Gets Another Chance To Drop Frankie Beverly & Maze
Of all the socialnetworkingmusicsharing-videopostingcommenting sites out there, we’ve always liked iMeem; corny iName notwithstanding, it’s every bit as useful as the Hype Machine and likewise, you can get lost in there for hours. Well, yesterday they posted some of that love right back, featuring Philly in their “Keys To The City” series of special content. In the Philly edition, there’s a bunch of original video (include one in which Diplo goes down memory lane back to the days where Dave P thought he was a “wigger”) and most notably, ?uesto’s Favorite Illadelph Songs, a streaming playlist from the Roots drummer hisself. (There’s also some Roots Picnic footage in there somewhere, too.) So thanks, iMeem. This is nice. But we’re not putting out until we make sure you don’t make all the same exact moves on Portland. We know how you Internet people are.
