Attn.: People Who Miss The Lost Art Of Music Video

Once again, Philebrity.tv and Silk City are teaming up for Local Music Video Night — this time, on Sunday July 27 at 9PM. Each time we do one of these, we’re stunned at the wealth of local bands and directors who are doing great, fun music videos. And we want yours. If you’ve got a video clip you’d like to submit for the evening — we’re also looking to premiere some new stuff — send a link to tips[at]philebrity[dot]com with “LOCAL MUSIC VIDEO NIGHT” in the header. Any type of music is considered, and please, don’t send video files; YouTube-type links (Vimeo, Blip, etc.) are best. Thanks!

This is awesome! I love music videos. Are you guys going to do any sort of email reminder? I’d like to be on the list.
Music videos are so cool. I’m one of those TV haters, but I have this idea that every TV hater has one TV weakness. Mine is totally music videos. If you put up a music video (that isn’t by some loathsome band) I’m likely to just get hypnotized. During that brief wonderful period when MTV2 was music videos like MTV used to be, I used to go over to the houses of people with cable and let them talk to whomever and just get lost in them.
