Claudia Cohen was the first woman editor of the University of Pennsylvania’s newspaper, The Daily Pennsylvanian. After divorcing Perlman she could have rested on her $60 million nest egg, but instead participated in good old fashion gossip, not backbiting enough to scare her friends away who she often reported on. Sadly she was taken from us too soon by the silent killer, Ovarian Cancer. I was a big fan of hers and met her a few times.
