Let us tell you, the little backpacker from the ’90s in us is one seriously neglected inner child, but today, he’s thrilled, because we just played him a couple of tracks off the debut Hustle Simmons album, released just yesterday. But it’s not just that lil’ guy who’s still stoked on the Black Star album — we could see Hustle Simmons connecting with him, the super duper Old School fans and holy hell, even hip-hop fans living in the now! And mark our words, it’s gonna be a source of hometown pride; the H to the S is comprised of Philly producer Tha S Ence and Dave Ghetto, whose name alone kinda makes him sound like the nicest guy in the hood. (Knock, knock. Who’s there? Mr. Ghetto. Oh, shit, Mr. Ghetto who? Mr. DAVE Ghetto! Oh snap, DAVE, come on in!) But enough of our horseplay, it’s time for the tunage.
