Not just the cineastes, a significant chunk of Transformers fans hate what Bay's done with the franchise. Some folks thing the whole Revenge of the Fallen subtitle is a ploy to address the mythology of the semi-canonical Transformers comics-verse (won't bother getting into who/what The Fallen is, basically the Transformers' Satan) in order to keep them secure in his camp. Uh, yeah.
