Be careful when you read this story, because you could be having some serious flashbacks to either Turk 182, Beat Street or that time your mom got wind that you were writing on the wall behind the school whilst listening to BREAKDANCE MUSIC. Except this time, it’s worse: Criminal charges are being filed against two Philly cops who beat down some poor sucker they caught spray painting a wall in North Philly with a “Congrats” message to two friends who’d just gotten married. (If anyone can tell me that this is any more or less tacky than the shit that inevitably goes on at anybody else’s wedding, well, consider me a monkey’s uncle.) So that — and the fact that Philly Popo are involved in yet another Bullshit Case That Could Have Been Avoided If Only Our Cops Were Smarter — is bad enough. The only thing I can think that would make this even more of a shit soup would be to, hmm, let’s see, oh yeah, let’s just ask Joe Public.

I can’t believe thoose who write about this is not a police state or move to Myanmar! Get a grip (granted they didn’t handle it the right way) but it is a broken jaw! Not a public hanging. Maybe you would have a different opinion if he was spray-painting your house, or other who carry semi-auto weapons and kill innocent people. Wake up, and others that write that most of the cops are on a power trip are people screaming for attention. Seek help (mentally) you need it. There will always be a few that are bad apples, but most care for your well being and put their life on the line everyday. If you can do better get an application and become a officer.
