Oh, Sweet Irony: Owen Wilson To Impersonate Hack Inky Writer In Actual Hack Inky Newsroom

owenWe mentioned to you that Owen Wilson (pictured) is starring in the film adaptation of John Grogan’s absolute middlebrow-shitbomb of a book Marley & Me, right? Next week, it gets even crazier, as film crews will be rolling up to Broad & Whatever next Thursday to film newsroom scenes. According to a memo sent ’round to Inky staff:

Where:
Two scenes will be filmed in the Inquirer Business Department, including the location of Linda Loyd’s desk. Two more scenes will be filmed in Bill Marimow’s office. They will also be filming Owen Wilson walking through the newsroom to Linda’s desk. Finally, they will film the exterior of the building and Owen Wilson entering the building.
What to expect:
Anyone in the immediate vicinity of the Linda Lloyd’s desk or who will be in a shot will be considered an extra by FOX. FOX’s wardrobe department will provide us with a flyer that will be distributed in the newsroom asking people to wear certain colors and what to avoid. There will also be a photo release that you will be asked to sign if you are seen on camera.

Note: This will be the first time anyone has ever thought to give Inky staff notes on what not to wear. Prick up your ears, Elizabeth Wellington.
