Don’t forget the unnecessary capitalization (e.g. “The Anti Gay Marriage Legislation”) and the improper use of an apostrophe in “Senator’s”. I can’t believe someone as illiterate and self-aggrandizing as Mark Segal is considered a pillar of our gay community.

    Gayly, I remain your

And another thing: Isn’t it safe to assume that most Pennsylvania State Senators who are Democrats won’t be supporting “The Anti Gay Marriage Legislation” anyway? Why does Barack Obama need to tell them how to vote? Shouldn’t he be persuading the Republican State Senators not to be anti-gay, if anyone? Stupid, stupid, stupid.

the problem with Mark is that. much like John Street. he was awesome in his youth. and now. noone is willing to take him to task for his rampant ego and frequent wrongheadedness. at least. not on the record. but spend some time around some nonprofit folks or other pro-mos and you’ll very quickly find that everyone pretty much just humors him while mocking him behind his back. because for some reason. they are all scared

I find the use of one’s title in an email name field quite nauseous.

Also, this looks like an Evite for a St. Patrick’s Day kegger, not a quasi-press release. Reformat, irrelevant aging queer.

I wonder if a gay man were running for President if the LBGT community would complain that he is not “gay enough”

Perhaps he hasn’t been receiving a response from the Obama campaign because of the fact that he’s emailing the question to himself. Whoops! Teh internets is hard.
