This Just In: New Dr. Dog Album Out On July 22, Philebrity Runs Picture Of “The Girl” For The 32nd Time
Get out yer listenin’ cups, Dr. Dog fans: The band is releasing a new long-player called Fate this summer. According to a MySpace bulletin sent out by the band this morning, “We spend a lot of time together, maybe more than any person should spend with another, but that’s not a complaint. It’s to say that when you spend this much time with a bunch of dudes, you learn from one another and you learn something about yourself. Not sure what that’s got to do with anything, but at the moment we listen to this record and think that all the time we spend together has as much to do with the album as anything else.”
Aww. Or aww-minOUS? In any case, the band’s Wikipedia page — we love that Dr. Dog has a Wikipedia entry, btw — the only confirmed song titles on Fate will be “From,” and “Fate.” Hmm, all four letters, all beginning with “F.” We’re getting a very “Paul Is Dead” vibe. What are the Dogs trying to tell us?
