Not An April Fool’s Joke: Hillz Makes The Inevitable Rocky Comparison… To Herself

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton says she has something in common with legendary film boxer Rocky Balboa—she’s not a quitter.
Recalling a famous scene on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art from the 1976 Oscar-winning film “Rocky,” Clinton said that ending her presidential campaign now would be as if “Rocky Balboa had gotten halfway up those art museum steps and said, ‘Well, I guess that’s about far enough.’”“Let me tell you something, when it comes to finishing a fight, Rocky and I have a lot in common. I never quit. I never give up. And neither do the American people,” Clinton said in excerpts of prepared remarks to be given Tuesday to a meeting of the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO.
Yes, Hillary. When you think about it, the comparison goes even further. After all, wasn’t it Rocky who acted like he was entitled by birth to the heavyweight crown, accused any detractors of anti-Italian sentiments and, uh, lied about sniper fire when he went to fight that Russian guy?
Shame on you, woman. One thousand times, HOT SHAME.
Breitbart: Maybe You Should Quit While You’re Ahead

Don’t we already have a president that doesn’t know that sometimes it’s ok and classy and healthy to throw in the towel?
I mean, with a few tweaks, that quote by Clinton could have been said by Bush about Iraq: “Let me tell you somethin’, when it comes to finishin’ a fight, Rocky and me have a lot in common. I no quit. I no give up. And neither do the Americanese people.”

You know on Perez, when you click on the photo the little round thing disappears. Of course I’m at work so could you work on that by the time I get home?
