Phashionista: Mixed Blessings

archie· It is with great regret that we tell you that as of May 31, P.A.D Home Furnishings in Northern Liberties will be closing down. ‘Twas a great shop for many things, and we’re sad to see it go. Says P.A.D.’s Peter D’Orsaneo, “Though not an easy decision to make, Christy and I have agreed that it is in our best interest at this time to close the store. We extend our gratitude to those of you who have consistently supported us over the past years..true friends old and new! We are beginning our closing with close outs on furniture..so come and take advantage of the savings.” God save the P.A.D., yo; ye shall be missed. [P.A.D.]

· And finally, we’re not sure why we’re putting this in Phashionista, but by gum, it certainly seems like it belongs here: The Archies do “Common People.” [InvincibleSuperBlog]
