Always Sunny Team To Throw Some Spaceballs On Fox?

(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) – Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Glenn Howerton, producers and stars of the FX comedy It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, have landed a single-camera comedy pilot at Fox. As part of a two-year overall deal with the network, the trio received a pilot order for Boldly Going Nowhere, described as a high-concept comedy focusing on the mundane daily activities of a rogue captain on an intergalactic spaceship. McElhenney, Day, and Howerton, who will executive produce but not appear on the show, will prep the Boldly pilot and finish writing additional scripts in October, once they wrap shooting on the upcoming fourth season of Always Sunny.
We knew that “Day Man” was some kind of breakthrough. Congrats, boys.
