Fishtown Europop Update: Plastic Operator Release New Single, Start Label
It’s been a little while since we checked in with Mathieu Gendreau, one half of the sterling international pop duo Plastic Operator and super-unlikely Philly transplant. But there is news: Plastic Operator, fresh off a quick set of European dates, have a new single out, “Home,” complete with a new video directed by Pete Circuitt. Meanwhile, Gendreau has also started a new label, Fine Day Records, that will now house Plastic Operator as well as like-minded pals, Hermanos Inglesos. Here’s the Hermanos remix of “Home”:
No word on upcoming local gigs or DJ sets, but hey, that gives us an idea!
