Nastiest. Google. Mashup. Ever.

From Phoodie.info, Philebrity’s brand new daily food and drink blog:

nasty

In this new information age, where anyone can look up what kind of health code violations any place in the city has, it’s more incumbent upon business owners than ever before to follow the City’s codes to the letter of the law. Dirty little secrets are still dirty, but they’re not secrets anymore. And now that the 2007 violation reports are out, there’s a new fun little toy for anyone who wants to go roach and rat-hunting: A Google Maps mashup that can tell you who’s got what, and who’s clean.

Eek. But here’s the good news: Each day, Monday through Friday, Phoodie will feature original writing, gossip, round-ups and tips for navigating this great restaurant city of ours — as well as the occasional video segment, first look, recipes and interviews.

The China Garden at 8756 Frankford Av is a real prize too, both in legitimate content and typographical errors. (I’m pretty sure it’s not okay to scoop rice with a bowel, no matter its shape.)
