Dept. Of Social Justice: “Leaplings” To Get Their Due In Sea Of Red At Wings Game Tonight

DETAILS: Two local “leaplings” from the SAME family, who share a February 29 birthday, take to the Wachovia Center turf while thousands of Wings fans sing “Happy Birthday” before the undefeated Wings (5-0) take on the New York Titans. Eight-year-old Randall Allan, celebrating his 2nd birthday on Leap Day, joins his grandmother Barbara Milkis, celebrating only her 19th birthday after 76 years.

The grandson/grandma couple will receive a special Leap Day cake from the Wings on the field.
According to Leapyearday.com, there are only 200,000 people with the Leap Day birthday in the entire United States. There is 1 in 1,461 chance for someone to be born on this day.
In recognition of Leap Day, the undefeated Philadelphia Wings (5-0) honored anyone born on February 29 with free tickets see the Wings take on the New York Titans at the Wachovia Center on Friday, February 29 at 8 p.m.
The “Sea of Red” will continue at the Wachovia Center as all fans are encouraged to wear red to the game this Friday.
