Suburban Couple Learns The Hard Way That Life Is Unfair And Often Difficult To Understand

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― Trying to find an open parking spot in Philadelphia is often an effort in futility. So on a recent trip into Center City, Jackie and Henry Geis thought it was their lucky day!“Henry saw the parking meter open so he pulled right in,” said Jackie.
But the couple says that they didn’t get the time they paid for.
When they got back to their car Henry said, “I see the ticket on the window, and I said a few words that I can’t say now.”
We wish we could tell you that this story ends with Jackie and Henry letting down their guards, discovering who each other really are, and embarking on a journey of sexual discovery that brings them together by tearing them apart. But that’s not how it ends. It’s really not.

i was walking into town last week, from the italian market..
was nearing pine and found myself behind old scruffy dude scoopin’ out meter coins with a paperclip-like tool. my first reaction? smiling at the idea of less money going into the PPA pockets. i was calculating how many meters it takes to get lunch, coffee, etc.
i thought about it later and realized that he’s probably yankin’ time off of the car parked.. thereby, allowing room for a ticket.. and the PPA making more dollars.
crap. they keep winning.
