Neighbourhood Watch: You Call This Progress?
UNIVERSITY CITY: Penn and Drexel are looking to expand their target market, a lot. Both universities are trying to set up specialized high schools in University City. Get em while they’re young. [KYW]
NORTHERN LIBERTIES: “You got a lot more wrong than the zipcode. The street is SANSOM.” OK, OK!!! [NoLibs]
RITTENHOUSE SQUARE: People of this city, we must be strong during this trying time. Rittenhouse is losing convenience stores to the tune of 15 a day. With the news of our Wawa closing, we must gather during dark time and tell the world, We. Are. Not. Afraid. [Metro]
KENSINGTON: Members of Youth United for a Change protested twice yesterday to discourage Philadelphia School District from increasing the amount of students that will attend high schools in Kensington and Olney. Later, the group considered expansion, changing its name to Youth United For Indignant Rage That Is Really Just A Cover For Getting Afternoons Off. [Inky]
ROXBOROUGH: Wonky news abounds concerning the Rox’s upcoming facelift, but let’s face it: It’s all about the Bob’s. Grilled cheese on white, please. [PW/CP]
