The Philebrity Promise: As Go The Mashups, So Go The Bangers

Promise #317:
On this day, Wednesday, February 27, 2008, Philebrity shall hereby retire the DJ/music term “bangers” and all derivations thereof: “club bangers,” “THE bangers,” and so on. We are not sure anyone knows what this term has ever truly meant — or if it meant anything at all — and anyone who uses it, even tongue-in-cheek, sounds like a moron. (See also: “Internets.”) With love,
The Undersigned

Thank goodness the NEW sunday night weekly starting this sunday march 2 at barbary is described like this…
IS ALL ABOUT MAKING U DANCE
dance beats.
feel-good songs.
gang vocals.
life anthems.
old school jams
(I’m not even sure what this means…good thing I got it from a new myspace friends music tastes…it reads well no???)
dj deejay

p.s. people should still go to jay yo’s 4am party at barbary on friday march 7…despite the bangers thing.
