Philly Skyline To Be Wached By New Logo

wach.jpgWhen we heard that the PNB building on S. Broad was set to become a Wachovia, we thought same shit, diff building. We didn’t consider how it would alter the skyline until we saw the logo wrapping that they had in mind. Sure, why not emulate SEPTA’s marketing rape and cover the Founder’s Bell completely? Our cityscape can take a little more ugly before it becomes the new pretty.

Might be less offensive if it were in neon. Philly was a neon capital once–it’d be nice to see that legacy continue. Mid-century neon would look so good up against Philly’s old carved stone facades.
