Rumblings: Old Bosses Never Die, They Just Smell That Way
>>> How did John Street assess his first day on the job as an adjunct prof at Temple? Well, let’s just say he’s a little too easily wowed after babysitting the patronage drones that populate the highways and byways at City Hall:
“On the first day, three were late out of 56,” he said, noting the importance of attendance. “That’s almost unheard of.”
Damn. Wait ’til he hears about how they have personal pan pizzas in the caf! [TempleNews]
>>> Alright, Eddie Rendell, now you’re really pissing us off. Selling us all out to Gamblor in the middle of the night on your own time is one thing, but calling City Council pussies because they have second thoughts? Dude. Did you finally just shave your back and become a slithering, disgusting eel? Thank God you don’t work here anymore. Next. [Metro]
>>> And just because we’re going backwards in MayorTime, may we now present: Wilson Goode’s sad, flavorless Wikipedia page. For the love of crimony, somebody must have a picture of this man, somewhere. No? Nobody? Perhaps it really was all a dream… [Wikipedia]

Re: Goode’s Wikipedia page I especially like how there’s zero mention of an entire city block being bombed with C4 on his watch. That’s a nice touch. (Nor, come to think of it, any mention of officials’ names on Wikipedia’s page on MOVE itself–http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOVE)

Oh, wait, wait, I take it back, it’s there after all, I’m just bad at skimming for content.
