This Just In: Nutter Announces Film Choice For TLA Philebrity Screening Series!

And it is… Invincible! So on Thursday night, Philebrity and TLA Video will be proud to present Mayor Michael Nutter introducing and saying a few words before a free screening of Invincible as part of the TLA Philebrity Screening Series at National Mechanics, 22 S. 3rd St., at 7:30pm.
And we’d like you to join us. Since seating is extremely limited for this event, we will be choosing readers at random for two passes per winner. To enter to win, send an email to ihopeiwin[at]philebrity[dot]com with “INVINCIBLE” in the subject header. Winners will be notified by end of day tomorrow. Thanks and hope to see you there!

  1. Dr. Ward Says:

When the page first came up, I read the headline and saw Markie Mark…I though Nutter’s choice was Boogie Nights. That would have been the more sage choice for the mayor.

  2. gr Says:

@Dr. Ward: Myself, I was kinda hoping for “All the King’s Men” (the original 1949 version, of course, not that trashy 2006 one).
