>> How about we start with the good news? Somebody made a video game where it’s Charles Barkley against the world. All your base are belong to us, indeed. [The700Level]
>>> And now, the not-so-good: Brian Tierney breaks it to the rank and file that they’ve got to cut costs by 10%, or he’s going to come a-choppin’. CUE INDIGNANT GUILD MEMO! “Sadly, Tierney was especially harsh about our advertising sales staff, saying its union affiliation hampers him from getting the results the company needs.” You guys, c’mon. >>> There’s more where that came from, bub: Get ready for a good old-fashioned STINK that’s brewin’ as the Nutter Administration begins to get the arts community ready for the blow that would accompany, contrary to central campaign promises, not re-instating the City’s Office of Arts & Culture. Off in the distance, Libby and Roberta are already penning angry letters. [EveningBulletin]
