Phashionista: Black Friday Is Not Phashionable…

santaBut we won’t tell anyone that you went out. Here is where you’re going:

  • While your tights collection has been growing, your designer denim inventory awaits some attention. Denim Society’s Holiday Blowout Sale gives you 40% off select denim and 20% off new styles Wed. thru Sat., and you’ll probably be a size bigger by then. Hot. 627A N. 2nd Street.
  • From 10am-7pm at Grasshopper, it’s 20% off the entire store. You can’t really buy the entire store itself, but imagine if you woke up on Christmas morning and saw Tracy and Regina and all of 723 Chestnut St. under your tree? Bogus. We’re not that special? How about a nice sweater, then?
  • The Friday Noir Shopping Party at the Mansion is recommended if you only leave Rittenhouse by private jet. We can afford to rag about it and not much else.
  • It’s 4th Friday on Fabric Row, a new monthly which showcases boutiques and workshops in Queen Village.
  • If you can wait it out, there’s always Black Saturday. Champagne Wishes and Holiday Dreams at Topstitch Boutique is the kind of sale that gets it right: Let Me Ride DJs and an afterparty at Lucy’s. All vintage is 30% off, there’s a gift wrapping station, homemade holiday cards, and champagne to keep you focused. From 6-9pm, 311 Market Street, 2nd Floor.
  • Art Star’s 3rd Annual Holiday Exhibition starts on Saturday with live music, nibbles, and all of that holiday stuff you’re not creative enough to make yourself.

Suddenly there are signs up in what I think used to be Tweeter Audio Etc on Walnut Street touting a new Armani Exchange, supposedly opening by “Holiday 2007.”

You know, if you need some really REALLY gay black pants or a bunch of over-priced ribbed tees that say A|X on them.

      Walnut between Broad & 15th – 1429 I think, maybe 1439..
