That’s just ridiculous. It is rather amazing that someone in their early 30′s — a reporter, no less — has no idea what 4:20 refers to. But worse, that he completely misrepresents the health risks of marijuana is unforgivable. The recovering addict he talks to doesn’t say what he was addicted to, to the point of suicide. I bet it wasn’t merely weed. This is the worst kind of fear-mongering yellow journalism.

There IS actually a potential point to this story – completely missed, of course. Parents worry about setting curfews and kids staying out late, when studies show that kids get into the most trouble in the afternoons after school and before the folks get out of work (drugs, teen pregnancy, listening to Elvis Presley records, etc.)

I dunno, stoners busting on people not in on 420 is like a Battlestar Galactica fanboy busting on Philebrity for not knowing what Razor is. I mean, are we all Comic Book Guy now? Maybe the Philebrity crew can reenact the “Fight for your Right to Party” video in Furlong’s house to show him, and show him how to live.
