Yesterday, the Fairmount Park Commission voted to table approval of a
multi-day, multi-stage concert in Fairmount Park. In the next 2
weeks, they’ll be taking public comment. In order to keep the
festival here in Philadelphia, we need you and your readers to reach
out to the Executive Director of the Park and your local
Councilperson. LET THEM KNOW WE’RE NOT GOING TO LET THEM BLOW THIS
AGAIN! [...]HELP US SAVE PHILAPALOOZA!
Wait. 400 murders before the year’s out and I’m supposed to lobby my Councilperson so that the fucking Peppers can play on Belmont Plateau while I eat a $6 hot dog? Yeah, I’ll get right on that.
