Did you know? Michael Nutter has a son, Christian. We did not personally witness this last night as we were wedged between a big guy from KYW who was NOT happy that we and like 25 other people had invaded their Old Media Zone during Nutter’s victory speech and 875 other people, but reports were that young Christian looked “bummed” at certain points throughout. Dude, don’t be bummed: Your father is the MAYOR. If you’re not swimming in poon now, trust us, you will be by January. Just ask Sharif.Voter turnout in Philly yesterday was a record-low of 29%. Shame on you, Philadelphia. For shame. [NextMayor]With his council race hanging in the balance of just a few dozen votes, David Oh expects to win. And you know what? We believe him. But we also believe that the Jack Kelly/Frank Keel brain trust are just the types who’ll recount this shit ’til the cows come home and then pay off some retiree with a print shop in the Northeast to make offensive posters about Oh when all else fails. Beliefs are a funny thing sometimes. [The Clog]And just how does PhillyMag greet our new mayor? Why, with a 6-page wonkfest article about the City’s looming budget crisis. Oh, PhillyMag, you are one saucy honeymoon MINX. Now please pass me the boner pills. Yes, I really do need them. [PhillyMag] This entry was posted

Hey philebrity, leave my dad alone. Jack Kelly is a great guy who has done a lot of good for the city during the past four years, and he ran a positive, clean campaign. Of course there’ll be a re-count–those are the rules when the election is so close. David Oh seemed like a nice enough guy when I met him at the polls on Tuesday, and if he wins, I wish him luck, and hope that he can be at least half as dedicated to Philadelphia as my dad has been.
