This Evening: Common, People

>>> If you don’t love Common, there’s got to be something wrong with you. He plays the Electric Factory tonight with Q-Tip and, according to this personalized message for YOU, Philadelphia, plenty of special guests. Official afterparty at Silk City, by the way.
>>> We’re torn: That “You Got The Money Maker” song by Rilo Kiley is by far one of the biggest pieces of shit we’ve heard on the radio in quite some time. But does that erase years of otherwise fine service and (we’d be lying if we didn’t mention it) utter hotness? You decide. They play a sold out show at the Trocadero.
>>> And if you’re feelin’ woodsy, there’s the Birdie Busch CD release at Johnny Brenda’s.
>>> Dark horse/bird pick of the evening? Check out a new discovery: The sweet, gentle indie pop stylings of Hermit Thrushes at The M Room.

I saw Q-Tip at close range with his shirt off a few weeks ago. I am still shocked to report that he is an absolutely diesel dude, ladies, I hope for your sake he takes his shirt off.

Yeah, Tha Mrs. was all like, “ooh he nice” the other day. I think it was the day of our wedding anniversary. Thanks, Tip.
