Desperately Wanted: MP3s Of The Serial Killers’ Heidnik Tribute Seven-Inch

“Heidnik’s House of Horrors.” A rarity. Released on the obscure “Suspiria” label and pressed on blood-red vinyl, this punk rock tribute to killer Gary Heidnik features a melody that can best be described as “primitive.” But how can you hate a song with lyrics like “He had a basement straight out of hell / Marquis de Sade would think it was swell”? [...]The Serial Killers‘ ode to horrific madman Gary Heidnik is indeed a rarity, a sick little ditty that you can’t help to laugh at even though you know it’s wrong. [...]
The Serial Killers properly sum up his story in about two minutes with such observations as:
“Cruising through the city in a Cadillac/Some poor ho tied up in the back.”
Check it out if you can find it! (there was only 1000 made).

They supposedly came with a ziploc with dirt from Heidnik’s front lawn. My friend Darren spotted some dude at the Mroom with a copy of it. When Darren asked him about the bag o dirt the dude quickly shoved the 7″ in his coat, like we were gonna jump him for it.

yeah, the dirt is true. it was a tiny bag with maybe a tablespoon of dirt. the story is that the guys in the band dug a bucket full of dirt from his lawn. i never got a version of the 7inch with the dirt… but i did nab a test pressing of it from Record Exchange way back when.
i have not gotten around to ripping it yet. sorry.

Yeah, they did send it out with the LP. My dad was the guitar player Tony I-Omen.
What happened was: After they arrested Heidnik, a bunch of them, plus some friends, went to Heidnik’s house (while the police tape was still up) and dug up, like, 2 huge buckets full of dirt from his backyard. They then put it in dimebags and sold it with their albums.
For those of you who may not know my Dad, his name is Tony Jeeter, he plays in The Purple Generals and The Cisco Jeeters now. The play the Tritone and Ray’s Happy Birthday Bar.
