Believe: One of the more unsung Philly rock ‘n’ roll success stories of the year has been The Cobbs. On the heels of their latest, The Cobbs Sing The Death Capades, the band’s been all over here and across the pond, gotten great ink and done the deed all without getting thrown in the blogrock cut-out bin, which in 2007, is really saying something. The band is playing the XPonential Fest this weekend, but before they do, they’re taking the maiden rock voyage of the newly refurbed Silk City. That’s right, tomorrow night, The Cobbs are playing the first rock show of the venue’s new incarnation. And we’ve got some guest list spots.
