Are you going? By now, you probably know about The Third Annual Philebrity Belle & Sebastian Dance Party, to be held THIS THURSDAY at National Mechanics in Old City. Response to this one has already been overwhelming, and in all of the pre-party excitement, we couldn’t help ourselves. We made a B&S mixtape. Click away for staff faves, covers of tunes by Os Mutantes and The Beatles, and of course, that one remix by The Avalanches. And before we move on, a few quick updates: Admission is free. We’re going to have giveaways of B&S back catalog albums on freshly pressed 180 gram vinyl, courtesy of Matador Records. Don’t come if you’re not dancing.
