New FBI statistics put Philadelphia’s homicide and violent crime rates as worst among the nation’s 10 biggest cities.

But just across the Ben Franklin Bridge, violent crime has continued at a rate that makes the City of Brotherly Love look relatively peaceful.

Philadelphia had a homicide rate last year of 27.8 slayings per 100,000 population. Camden’s homicide rate was more than 41.
