2.5 million? you must be exagerating. and I am sure you are. UWISHUNU cracks me up. They post something like its a great find and its McGlinchey’s or something. Its like every day is their first day in the city.

    A few items:
$2.5 million is the budget supporting the global uwishunu initiative, a destination marketing program promoting the story of the unconventional Philadelphia to the world. Yes, there is a blog component, and it is one small (yet important) component of an overall integrated tourism marketing campaign.

This funded initiative is supporting Philadelphia’s lesser known neighborhoods, small businesses, independent creatives, artists, musicians and more while at the same time telling the rest of the world about this new Philadelphia.

And yes, full disclosure, I work for GPTMC on uwishunu;)

Global UWISHUNU initiative? Now that is cracking me up. I think I get it now though. UWISHUNU’s audience is not me. IALREADYKNOW. Its NJ and Delco and beyond! It’s global baby! Today’s big story — The Knack at the World Cafe!
