Katie Couric Does Philly: Frustrated By Hair, Choked Up Over Pretzels
Philadelphia took the national stage Tuesday when the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric broadcasted live from the Art Museum.Katie shot a number of promos with CBS 3 anchors and was all about the finishing touches.
“I’m a frustrated hair dresser, among many things,” Couric said.
Oh, Katez. If only you took the time to swing by our office yesterday, where it was Fishtail Braid Tuesday.
At the end of the visit, CBS 3 had a parting gift for Katie, a little taste of Philly, a pretzel that spells out her name.
“I don’t know what to say. I have never gotten anything like that,” Couric said.
It was one time we saw Katie Couric speechless.
By parting gift, do they mean fired? A subtle hint covered in salt? We’d be a little worried if we were Miss Couric, not to mention at the salon right this second, ’cause a name-shaped pretzel just sounds ominous to us.
