This Weekend: It’s T-Shirt Weather (Finally)
FRIDAY:
>>> Grab your promised 15 minutes at the PHILEBRITY.TV LAUNCH PARTY at the RUBA. Peep the flyer below. $3 measly bucks for video mindblows, American Sneakers, Bleached Black and Matheiu Gendreau of Plastic Operator.
>>> About 6 blocks northwest, White Ts and White Belts is back at the Ukie (UACA Ukrainian Club at 847 N. Franklin St). The jostle factor will be high, so hold onto your eyeglasses. Featuring DJs Emynd, Bo Bliz, and Dan the Swede with a performance by Def Jam Recording Artist Peedi Crack. 10pm. $10.
>>> If you like your dance party with huge dollops of guyliner, head over to the last Hands and Knees ever. That party always reminded us of the INXS’ Devil Inside video. Shrug. $5 at the M Room.
SATURDAY:
>>> What is this, an election for class president? Apparently the new rock ‘n’ roll thing to do is to make heaping promises about your DJ night. Swearing to provide “rock ‘n’ roll cupcakes and boy bands,” DJ Deejay does his thang at the Rock ‘N’ Roll Circus at the M Room, $5. Not to be outdone, the ball/party/trash/fashion extravaganza Redrum is touting its “breathtaking dancers” at the Raven Lounge. I know you both are pretty and popular, but for reals, who is gonna put a soda machine in the cafeteria?
>>> Across the street, get blurred to a pulp at SORTED! It’s a straight-up Cinco de Mayo Fiesta! Musica especial con Dave Pak y Mike Z! Drink specials. Johnny Brenda’s at 10pm. $6.
>>> If you want something a little more subdued but just as street, Arsenal presents “The AFBL All-Stars” featuring works by John Freeborn, Andrew Jeffery Wright, Andrew P. Warcraft, and a ton more. 6pm – 9pm, 623 North Second Street.
>>> Oh gawd, and [click.] is back! At Medusa.
>>> Chill out, Mon. Rock steadily Upstairs at The Khyber as Intensified‘s DJ Kyle Miller will spin Mod, Reggae, and Soul. 9pm. Free.
>>> Hi-YAH! Exhumed Films presents a Kung-Fu Triple Feature. “Big Touble in Little China,” “Seven Brothers Meet Dracula,” and “Kid With the Golden Arm” will be screened at the International House at 3701 Chestnut St.. $12 – Showtime 7:30pm Doors / 8:00pm Show.
SUNDAY:
>>> If the words “Unrest” and “Some Velvet Sidewalk” mean anything to you, check it: 2nd Annual Love Rock Brunch at Johnny Brenda’s, 11am – 3pm. $3 Bloodys/Mimosas, and Wild Kyle and Jojo getting misty over Lois Maffeo.
>>> For the pretty and pouting, head over to PANIC!, the free all-night Smiths and Morrissey Dance Party at Upstairs at Sal’s. Free PBR from 9pm-10pm.

Don’t forget this is like, the mother of all fag-a-delic Philly weekends – the equality forum parties are in full force – http://www.equalityforum.com/2007/parties.cfm
Seriously, it’s already a sleeveless t-shirt convention anywhere near the rainbow borough.
