The Philebrity Index: National Soft Pretzel Day Edition

mascot.jpgYa heard? Check out our childhood twist that dates back to the uh..early 1990′s? Walk into any deli, corner store, or pizza shop in Ftown or PoRich, and ask for Pizza Nuggets. The youth in these hoods consider this delicacy to be a complete gourmet meal. A soft pretzel is topped with pizza or tomato sauce, covered with white American cheese slices, microwaved a magical number of seconds, and then cut into bite-size pieces for edible ease, served in a checkered boat with a plastic fork. We swear by it, plus it always costs less than $1.50 at most places.
