PHILEBRITY EXCLUSIVE: Philly Popped! Festival Announces Lineup And Dates
Philebrity is proud to be telling the world today that Philly has birthed itself a brand new music festival ‚Äî Popped! ‚Äî that seeks to showcase a wide swath of the city’s indie/DIY-friendly bands this April 9 through 15. The week-long fest is being sponsored by Philadelphia Weekly, and other than a confirmed date at the Starlight Ballroom, venue info right now is sketchy. This would seem like a warning flag, but with the lineup they’ve assembled (Bardo Pond, Espers, The Cobbs, The Asteroid No. 4, Stinking Lizaveta, Sweatheart, Fursaxa, Make a Rising, Pony Pants and Dr. Dog, among others), it doesn’t seem like they’re going to have a hard time finding rooms. After the jump, the full lineup and some details as leaked by the Popped! folks. Stay tuned, we’ll be all over this one.
