Michael Klein Lets It Slip That He Doesn’t Believe In The Down-Low
Buried in an item about the new, uh, shot-in-Philly Lou Gosset movie…
Expect a slew of stars such as Vivica A. Fox, Loretta Devine, Lou Gossett, Mya and Billy Baldwin to pass through in the next couple of months.
They’ll be featured in the 20th Century Fox movie Cover, which is a week or so from setting up a production office here. The Bill Duke-directed drama about the consequences of “down-low” relationships –
supposedly straight men’s secret gay affairs
– was supposed to film last fall, but producers had to overcome scheduling conflicts.
Um, Michael, well, God bless you for giving these guys the benefit of the doubt, but, um, yeah. The down-low exists. Not that we would know. But still. Yes. It’s real.
