Up until now, we’ve held off on weighing in on the debate over Girl Talk, the kid-tested, ‘Fork approved guy who’s taking mashup to a whole new level at the very moment we became utterly sick of it. (Funny how that works out, right?) Why have we kept silent? A) Because we want you to have your fun, and B) we are holding the very possibly stodgy opinion that when your record samples 164 other records, that’s not so much music as it is a crazy BMX trick.
