They’re playing at Swarthmore, if you must. Students only, though.

Seriously, what’s the deal with all of the bands skipping Philly as of late (Bloc Party, Bright Eyes, the Rapture) … very upsetting …

The Rapture played a few weeks ago at Pure
Bloc Party is playing just two east coast cities
Bright Eyes is also just playing two east coast cites
They all will be back in the summer/end of Spring playing Philadelphia
The reason why Camera Obscura is NOT playing Philly is because Swarthmore is paying them the mega $$$
word

Crap, ticked I missed The Rapture.
Don’t worry, Camera Obscura will be real sorry they missed us when the slots arrive.
In the meantime, when the eff is Sigur Ros coming back?

Camera Obscura was at the North Star this past July. They were here before and they’ll be back again. Not to worry.
For anyone else who attended the aforementioned show: Is it me or was their bass player the bastard child of Fred Willard and David Gilmour? Wha’ happen, you crazy diamond?
