One of the only things we regret about our big year in music hoobleflaph earlier this week is that we may not have impressed upon you truly how great Connectivity!, the recent record by Mahogany, is. So to reiterate: It’s fucking brilliant. Another regret: Missing them at Johnny Brenda’s back around Halloween, especially once these Flickr photos started surfacing. Holy visuals. But we have good news, and we have better news: One is that we’ve partnered with the good people of Sorted!, and they in turn are bringing back Mahogany to Johnny Brenda’s on Sunday, January 14th. The better news: Again, visuals will be provided by klip collective, and just to up the ante a bit, the show will be presented IN 3-D. Yes, everything in life is 3-D, but the band have gone the extra mile and ordered 150 pairs of 3-D glasses for the fans to take it all in with. We don’t need to tell you that we’ve got some tickets to give away. So, send an email to ihopeiwin[at]philebrity[dot]com with “CONNECTIVITY IN 3-D” in the subject header, and we’ll see what’s what. Even though it’s a Sunday night show, the Mahogany 3-D thing combined with the Sorted! party could well merit a sellout, so buy tickets here if you don’t feel like sweating it.
