This Evening: Dolphinzilla Days, DIAMOND NIGHTS

dolphinzilla>>> The cobwebs of the post-holidays hangover are just starting to clear out, and lookie lookie: It’s Thursday night as the new Splatterday night all over again. Broadzilla is back at Upstairs At Sal’s, and they wrote us a poem describing what tonight is all about:

RIP YANGTZE RIVER DOLPHIN
EXTINCT IN THE WORLD BUT NOT IN OUR HEARTS
WE’LL POUR ONE OUT FOR YOU ON THURSDAY
WE SHALL MISS YOU, GOOD AQUATIC BUDDY

Wow. Okay.
>>> Attention Thin Lizzy fans. (Also known as “ALL OF MANKIND.”) Diamond Nights are the closest thing we’ve heard to the real thing, and what with Phil Lynnot being dead and all, it’s pretty much the best you’re gonna do. They’re at the Khyber with Kurt Vile. Dig it.
>>> And here’s a rock show PSA: Black Dice at Vox Populi is neither tonight nor tomorrow, it’s CANCELLED. You’ll have to get your artschoolrockstank somewhere else tonight, kiddo. Luckily, you live in Philadelphia, so…
>>> And it just wouldn’t be a loveless Thursday without Paradise at Key West.
