(yes this is serious)
We’ve been frantically texting Dave P this morning to get confirmation. And so far, the tenor of discussion has been like this: Us: “LIES!” Dave P: “You’ll see.” Damn straight we will, and until we see two ACTUAL FRENCHMEN in McGruff the Crime Dog suits ‚Äî and not Dave P and Adam Sparkles in McGruff the Crime Dog suits ‚Äî we’re saying, “Bullshit!”
But you should go anyway.

Word on the street is that two masked genetleman from Europe will actually be playing and using the same exact tools that Daft Punk use for their live show (Ableton). Not just “playing” Daft Punk songs - but mixing and chopping them all up just like they do. It will be insane, I promise

They did this at European festivals all summer for 300 grand a throw!… pretty fucking low thing to do for quite so much cash… Richard D James did this too, it’s kind of a 90s move. Not certain that Dave Bianca is gonna pay them 300 000 dollars. Probably is.

That’s cute. Sounds like someone has a crush on LCD Soundsystem. Or maybe it’s implying that LCD Soundsystem is playing there…

Wow, posts like these beg the question: what won’t hipsters fall for these days?
October 28th, 2006 at 2:03 pm
All you really need to know is that there will be awesome music and it’s a fun Halloween party. If you don’t “fall” for that then you win and you’re the coolest!
