Our hearts thrilled a little in that aw-shucks way when someone directed us to the Japanese music site Warszawa, I guess because it’s always nice to see your friends with lots of Japanese writing around them. It just makes you feel like it’s not all for naught, you know? And we figured it’d be just as good a time to tell you that Meg Baird of the Espers has recorded a solo album, and it’s due out in a couple months. We’ve been listening to it all afternoon, and without giving too much away, fans of the Nick Drake Pink Moon album should rejoice, for it’s finally got a companion. Just listening to this makes us want to put up the Christmas tree and rock a piping hot cup of grog. What’s more, we grubbed around and even found you an mp3 of said Single Of The Week. Dig it:
